Responsibilities
Test Execution & Validation – Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, desktop, and/or backend applications
Defect Identification & Troubleshooting – Isolate, reproduce, and document software defects using log analysis and debugging tools
Automation Testing – Implement and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or JMeter to improve efficiency and coverage
Regression & Functional Testing – Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across different application areas
Performance & Load Testing – Support performance validation using tools such as JMeter to simulate real-world usage scenarios
Collaboration with Developers – Partner with developers to debug, verify fixes, and improve testing workflows
Configuration & Deployment Support – Assist with troubleshooting deployment and environment setup issues
Test Reporting & Documentation – Generate detailed test reports, track defects, and maintain test case repositories for ongoing releases
Qualification
Required
QA Experience – Understanding of SDLC with hands-on software testing and debugging experience
Automation Expertise – Practical experience with at least one automation framework (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JMeter, or Cucumber)
Cross-Platform Proficiency – Experience working with Windows, macOS, or Linux environments
Technical Debugging Skills – Ability to analyze logs, crash dumps, and API requests to identify root causes
UI/UX Testing Knowledge – Familiarity with usability standards and best practices
Scripting & Tools Experience – Exposure to Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting, or similar
Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to design test scenarios and use cases with minimal supervision
Clear Communication – Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting test results and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience testing server software, real-time systems, or multi-threaded applications
API and network testing using tools like Postman or Wireshark
Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, or equivalent)
