This fully onsite position involves hands-on work on the shop floor, ensuring the test tractor fleet is maintained and ready for use, while collaborating with project team members across departments.

Responsibilities
Provide work direction to on-site and off-site support teams, ensuring the test tractor fleet is maintained and ready for use
Review work completed by support teams for quality and accuracy
Collaborate with project team members across departments
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with tractors
Ensure adherence to schedules, product specifications, and quality standards
Communicate directly with contract vendors on assigned projects
Participate in project meetings and provide status updates
Order, monitor, and store project-related materials
Drive tractors on test tracks and within facility property
Operate utility vehicles inside the facility and company vehicles for local travel (within 30 miles)
Qualification
Required
Technical or Engineering degree (Engineering highly preferred; entry-level considered)
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel functions and pivot tables
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and spend ~50% of the day on the shop floor
Must provide and wear metatarsal safety shoes from day one
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Quick learner and self-motivated
Ability to influence others without formal authority, including in union environments
Must pass Motor Vehicle Screen (including federal DOT compliance for vehicles over 10,000 lbs)
Preferred
Familiarity with Creo View, SAP, and Top-Down modeling structure
Adaptability to new tools, processes, and technologies
Initiative-taking and self-starting approach to work
