Participate in the development of high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
Participate in validation & verification efforts to advance computational methodologies and/or to demonstrate new technologies
Qualification
Required
Current or upcoming enrollment in a full time Ph.D. program at an accredited university majoring in Aerospace Engineering or related STEM discipline
Willing to work out onsite at the GE Aerospace Research facility in Niskayuna, NY
Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required. This role is restricted to U.S. persons. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
Preferred
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and thorough attention to detail
Ability to adapt to change and willingness to be flexible in a global team environment
Effective presentation and technical communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
