1+ years expCyient is looking to add a Quality Notification (QN) Project Engineer to our team in Cincinnati, OH. This position is responsible for the swift execution of all assigned tasks relating to the eQN process, including creating QNs, coordinating projects, and ensuring timely delivery of parts.

Responsibilities
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and own the assigned projects
Create QNs
Interface with inspection teams
Track deliverables and report regularly on project status
Interact with engineers and client to ensure timely delivery of parts
Identify potential delays in eQN process and create solutions
Cooperate and communicate effectively with customer and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Make continuous process improvements/cost savings
Coordinate expedient closures of eSRI (Electronic Supplier Request Information) and provide support to disciplines as required
Review QN prior history for part/feature data expectation required (data quality purposes) to complete authoring QN by QN POC
If insufficient information provided by vendor, turnback to vendor with request for what’s missing (reducing T/B between eng/vendor 107s)
Assist interchangeably with QN POC : Upload all documents to QN Documentum for supporting information provided by vendor
Take photos as required of conditions and upload. (as permitted by vendor)
Upon QN disposition – conduct review with vendor to understand QN generation expectation.(can be done in conjunction with QN POC)
Generate part/feature QN requirements checklist for vendor to follow PRIOR TO submitting for QN creation. (reducing T/B – already done, vendor not following, need to deploy within vendor team their practice of using this
Start building standard template examples for future reference data bank for Vendor future self sufficiency
Help set up MRB dashboard report macro / shortcut QN tracking system for Vendor future self sufficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year working experience OR Associate's Degree with 3 + years experience working experience as a design engineer or project engineer in an aerospace manufacturing environment
Experience in an environment with a focus on quick turn-around time
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel and VBA macros
Ability to work with an interdisciplinary group of engineers
Preferred
Familiarity with SAP a plus
Familiarity with Aerospace and Jet Engines is a plus
Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
