Responsibilities
Read and interpret Work Orders, Drawings, and assembly documentation
Perform precision assembly of fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components following established procedures
Handle delicate fiber strands with extreme care to prevent damage and ensure proper alignment
Prepare, clean, and assemble components per engineering and quality requirements
Conduct visual inspections and testing to detect defects or quality issues
Maintain accurate assembly and inspection records
Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet daily goals
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and Work Orders
Ability to read a tape measure and work with basic measurement tools
Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with very small components under magnification
High level of attention to detail and quality focus
Familiarity with hand tools and basic assembly practices
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Understanding of basic quality assurance principles and inspection techniques (preferred but not required)
Preferred
Experience in medical device assembly, micro-assembly, or cleanroom production
Experience with fiber optics, cable assembly, or small-parts production
Familiarity with fiber optic testing tools
