Responsibilities
Lead system-level integration across sample prep, library prep, sequencing/PCR, and data pipelines
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of sequencing and molecular workflows
Partner with assay, software, hardware, and bioinformatics teams on end-to-end performance
Define system requirements, architecture, and integration plans
Apply DoE and statistical analysis (JMP, ANOVA, regression)
Plan and execute verification & validation (V&V) testing
Support post-launch investigations and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Degree in Systems, Bioengineering, or Biomedical Engineering (or related)
Senior-level industry experience: PhD + 5 yrs | MS + 10 yrs | BS + 10 yrs
Hands-on experience with sequencing workflows (NA extraction, library prep, sequencing)
Strong troubleshooting experience in sequencing and PCR-based workflows
Required experience with statistical tools / DoE
Preferred
Bioinformatics or sequencing data pipelines (QC, variant calling)
Life sciences instrumentation / IVD product development
Digital PCR, microfluidics, or semiconductor-based sensing
Python or R scripting
