DevOps Engineer
PepsiCo is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Global DevOps Center of Excellence. This role focuses on supporting and optimizing CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with various teams to implement pipeline controls and automation standards.

Responsibilities
Support the design, maintenance, and governance of reusable CI/CD YAML templates across enterprise DevOps platforms
Implement and support pipeline stage gates for quality, security, and compliance (e.g., approvals, scans, validations)
Work with DevOps platforms and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or GitLab to maintain pipeline reliability and performance
Collaborate with InfoSec, QA, and application teams to ensure pipelines align with organizational policies and standards
Assist in onboarding teams onto standardized CI/CD frameworks and DevOps tooling
Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline failures, configuration issues, and integration challenges
Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the DevOps CoE
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to DevOps automation, tooling, and platform governance
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Platform Engineering roles
Hands-on experience with DevOps platforms and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts), GitHub / GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins
Working knowledge of YAML-based pipeline definitions and reusable templates
Experience supporting stage gates such as approvals, quality checks, or security scans in pipelines
Basic to intermediate scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (ARM, Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation)
Understanding of DevOps platform capabilities, including source control management, build and release pipelines, artifact repositories, access control and permissions
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed global teams
Exposure to security and quality tools (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, code quality tools)
Experience working in a regulated or enterprise environment with governance requirements
Cloud exposure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable)
Benefits
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
