The Construction Management Intern will work closely with a project manager to gain exposure to planning, execution, and completion of civil infrastructure projects, assisting in various aspects of construction management.

Responsibilities
Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure the project is constructed following design, budget, and schedule
Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project, including, but not limited to, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen
Assist with estimating projects and creating bid proposals
Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests
Assists in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met
Assist in the maintenance of all official project documentation and logs
Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions
Perform additional assignments per the supervisor's direction
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
Must possess a strong desire to start a career in the civil construction industry
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills
Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Prior construction experience is a plus
Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Accubid, or other construction technology is a plus
