Supply Chain Receiving and Distribution Associate - FT - Days - MRH

The Supply Chain Receiving and Distribution Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of warehouse functions, including managing shipments and maintaining records of hospital deliveries.

Responsibilities
Facilitates the movement of materials to internal and external customers
Manages pickup/transfers within Workday of products within facility and communication of items that need to be disposed or stored
Completes disposition documentation within Workday
Acts as a liaison between Accounts Payable and Supply Chain Management Departments to process discrepancies as it relates to invoices, receipts and, or purchase orders as well as non-purchase orders
Performs staff responsibilities, as needed, to fulfill required service levels within the Central Services Department
Organizes all items on pallet and carts including repacks for delivery by designated area to create standard operating efficiencies within distribution
Prepares packages to ship out via FedEx, UPS, or Freight
Collects all documentation for outbound freight and ensures all documents including receiving paperwork are filed appropriately
Picks orders to be shipped ensuring proper labels, weight and paperwork have been applied before shipping and examines outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications
Schedules inbound and outbound freight and complies with warehouse operations
Utilizes material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport supplies or equipment to shipping locations or delivery platforms
Demonstrates a full understanding of how to use the electric pallet jacks
Creates work orders in Service Now to escalate broken equipment for resolution
Identifies, assigns, and affixes property control tags to capital equipment
Ensures that appropriate staff are notified of receipts and appropriate documentation is prepared within Workday
Delivers pallets or boxes to destination and obtains confirmation signatures of receipt by stakeholder(s)
Maintains all records accurately and file appropriately
Creates timely documentation of delivery discrepancies by creating a case within Vendor Marketplace portal
Assists drivers with off-loading deliveries and bringing all received supplies and equipment to receiving area
Creates a dock-log for all inbound delivery to track shipments within Workday
Ensures proper daily use of receiving scanners and able to troubleshoot functionality timely and effectively
Performs other duties as assigned
Receives, inspects, and verifies all hospital deliveries against delivery documents, purchase orders and non-purchase orders to ensure that the merchandise specifications, quality, count, price, etc. are as ordered and assists in resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner within Workday
Ensures all compliance to policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
No experience required
May require a valid Florida Driver's License with a clean record, if assigned to driving detail
