SAP Billing & Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

Process, verify, reconcile, and report logistics activities across operations
Confirm third-party documentation is complete and audit-ready
Verify nominations, quantities, pricing, pricing dates, and plant details for all purchases and sales
Post goods issues and receipts using tickets, bills of lading, and inspection reports in SAP nominations
Review open nominations, sales orders, purchase orders, in-transit shipments, and future commitments
Create contracts, purchase orders, and sales orders from internal source documents
Distribute contracts, review customer contracts, and issue confirmation letters to resolve discrepancies
Reconcile inventories, including production, consumption, re-grades, transfers, book-outs, and gain/loss adjustments
Prepare monthly book-to-physical inventory reports and reconcile terminal inventories
Invoice sales accurately and on time while monitoring daily billing activity
Prepare wire requests for purchases and ensure payments align with contractual terms
Process goods issues and receipts for joint venture partners
Maintain customer, supplier, plant, and material master data in SAP
Reconcile exchange balances, settle exchanges and swaps, and generate required documentation
Prepare and distribute annual regulatory letters and maintain compliance files
Act as a key user for billing, pricing, material balances, and related SAP functions
Support internal and external audits and enforce SOX controls and documentation standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or a related field
Demonstrated experience with SAP, including billing, nominations, inventory, and materials management
Knowledge of sales orders, purchase orders, contracts, and invoicing processes
Experience with inventory reconciliation and month-end close activities
Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit requirements, and internal controls
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise reporting tools

Preferred

Experience supporting logistics, commodities, or industrial operations
