Responsibilities
Designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates mechanical and/or electronic apparatus
Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests
Evaluates and maintains records and writes reports of the results of his work
Generates engineering documentation and test procedures
Liaison with Designers, Technicians and Purchasing Department for evaluation of products/parts, debugging phases and transition from prototype to first artwork
Performs other similar related tasks as assigned
Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years prior experience or Associate's degree and a minimum of 8 years prior experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience writing technical specifications and other technical documents is a plus
Microsoft Office proficiency
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (e.g. Green Card holder), or a protected individual as defined by the International Traffic in Arm Regulations (ITAR)
