Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Graduation from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program
Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses
Nurse Practitioner Furnisher license (or obtain within three months)
DEA number or proof of application (within three months)
CPR (AHA-HCP), NRP, and PALS certifications (to be obtained within six months if not current)
Eligibility to bill Medicare under CMS criteria
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish
Experience in acute pediatric care and NICU, with skills in intubation and emergency umbilical line placement
National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
