Site Safety Manager

The QC / SSHO II oversees mid-size construction projects, managing daily field operations and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Manage field operations for multiple mid-size projects
Ensure compliance with contract documents, schedules, budgets, and safety standards
Lead jobsite safety and quality programs per OSHA, EM 385, and company policies
Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily site activities
Maintain schedules, daily reports, jobsite organization, and cleanliness
Conduct subcontractor meetings and manage quality control processes
Review costs, billing, and projections with the Project Manager

Qualification

OSHA 30 certificationUSACE project experienceSafety managementMicrosoft OfficeFirst Aid/CPR certificationConstruction project managementFederal contractsProcore experienceP6 scheduling experienceLeadership skillsCommunication skills

Required

5–10 years of independent construction project management experience
OSHA 30 certification and USACE project experience
Minimum 3 years of safety experience and 24 hours of recent safety training
Strong knowledge of federal contracts and EM 385
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
First Aid/CPR certification
Strong leadership and communication skills
Federal background check, drug screening, and valid driver's license required

Preferred

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Experience with Procore and P6 scheduling
