PCB DESIGN ENGINEER

They are seeking a PCB Design Engineer to lead ECAD design for printed wiring boards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead ECAD design for single‑sided, double‑sided, flexible, and multi‑layer printed wiring boards (PWBs), ensuring compliance with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, EMC, and supplier specifications
Create detailed electrical schematics using OPmobility tools—leveraging existing libraries or developing new circuit designs in partnership with our engineering team
Design circuits involving LED drivers, headlamp control modules, matrix drivers, DC/DC–SMPS converters, microcontrollers, and LED arrays
Apply and manage PWB vendor design rules; implement these rules within ECAD tools and maintain an up‑to‑date rules database
Own library management, including symbol creation, PCB footprint development, and continuous improvement of library quality
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient panelization, board utilization, and optimized manufacturability

Required

Create detailed electrical schematics using OPmobility tools—leveraging existing libraries or developing new circuit designs in partnership with our engineering team

Expert proficiency with ECAD tools, including: Altium Designer, CATIA, CAM software
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols, specifically LIN and CAN
Strong background in ECAD design across various board technologies and complexities
Hands‑on experience with PCB library creation and maintenance
Solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, PWB vendor capabilities, and high-quality layout practices
Ability to work in a dynamic engineering environment and contribute creative, reliable design solutions
4-5 years of experience in Design

Preferred

Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Electronics is preferred
