Quality Assurance Representative

Responsibilities

Must understand foundry/casting process along with defect analysis
Must be able to promote continuous quality improvement
Must be able to have problem solving tools including 8D, Six Sigma, APQP requirements
Must be able to address customer quality concerns and address root cause
Issue and verify R.G.A. system with communication to customer
Monitor sorting activity at customer and/or outsource

Required

Must understand foundry/casting process along with defect analysis
Must be able to promote continuous quality improvement
Must be able to have problem solving tools including 8D, Six Sigma, APQP requirements
Must be able to address customer quality concerns and address root cause
Issue and verify R.G.A. system with communication to customer
Monitor sorting activity at customer and/or outsource
Must have working knowledge of computer & quality related programs
Must have working knowledge of quality trouble shooting techniques
Must have working knowledge of overall foundry procedures and practices
Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
Must have the ability and willingness to walk the shop floor of our customers and communicate effectively about the issues they are experiencing as well as opportunities for new work for Waupaca Foundry
Must have ability to work independently to plan & organize. Must be able to facilitate customer / team relationship
Must have working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
Must be able to address customer quality problems with foundry personnel
Must be willing to travel and re-locate to Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio (flexible)

Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Engineer and or Manager recommended
