Responsibilities
Repair progressive and transfer tooling
Tig Weld, Weld and repair tool steels
Hand grinding
Ability to operate manual tool room mill, surface grinder, lathe etc
Support mass production
Ability to work any shift
Ability to work overtime and weekends
Ability to work in a team environment
Practice and follow safe working methods
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Familiar or previous experience with Surf Cam, Work NC a plus
Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Crane Experience
Qualification
Required
Ability to work any shift

Practice and follow safe working methods
Ability to read mechanical drawings
High School Diploma or GED
Stable work history with good attendance
2-year degree in Tool and Die Technology along with 2 years of on-the-job experience
Minimum of 5 years of documented die maintenance experience in a metal stamping facility without degree
All candidates are required to pass a written test, upon successful completion, a hands-on test will be given
Preferred
Auto CAD, Solid Works, and Microsoft Office a plus but not required
Programmable logic controllers: 1 year
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year
Crane Experience
Familiar or previous experience with Surf Cam, Work NC a plus
