HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing CNC Process Engineer in the Manufacturing industry. The role involves developing and optimizing machining processes, analyzing existing methods to improve productivity, and supporting the expansion of in-house fabrication capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and improve machining processes for efficient fabrication of parts, assemblies, and finished products
Analyze and improve existing machining processes to reduce waste, decrease downtime, and improve productivity
Create manufacturing estimates for sale proposals from engineering documentation
Determine machining sequences, feed and speed rates, and design fixturing and tooling for new products
Review engineering drawings for manufacturability, assembly, and quality (DFMA/DFQ)
Solicit feedback from engineers, operators, and assemblers to improve manufacturing methods
Support in expanding in-house fabrication capabilities and deployment of new tools/equipment
Analyze, resolve, and assist operators in solving manufacturing problems

Required

7+ years of precision machine shop experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in CNC milling and turning operations
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, machining principles, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, safety rules, and operating/maintenance instructions
Strong report writing and communication skills
Skilled in mathematical concepts, including fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, probability, and trigonometry
Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
Experience in programming, setting up, and operating precision CNC machinery
Familiarity with manufacturing methods, procedures, and quality standards
Ability to schedule, plan, and inform others on technical information

Preferred

Epicor ERP experience is a plus
