Responsibilities
Support the Sales organization on existing products through product presentations, demonstrations and application studies, and on new products in close collaboration with product management through beta sites testing and demonstrations
Support Sales in the customer process and URS analysis, and generate application trials to help design optimized products in line with the application requirements
Assist customers with their first product installation and initial start-up, and ensure the training of the customer
Support Quality Department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolution
Report on competitors’ products and feedback information to the Application Specialist Team as well as the Products Management Team
Qualification
Required
BSc degree in biological engineering, life sciences or related field with a minimum of 3+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience, R&D/PD/Scale-up/GMP preferred
or MSc Degree, in biological engineering, life sciences or related field with a minimum of 1 year of biopharmaceutical industry experience
or PhD
Ability to travel overnight up to 50%
Ability to effectively interface with product/project/division management
Ability to interact at various levels (sales, technical, users)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities accordingly
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Computer proficient in Windows-based software package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
Preferred
Experience with R&D/PD/Scale-up/GMP
Product and application expertise for the relevant portfolio
Hands on experience for key applications
