Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end assessments of existing Oracle CPQ implementations, configurations, and integrations
Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities across pricing, configuration, approvals, and workflows
Define target-state CPQ architecture aligned with business, sales, and IT objectives
Provide recommendations on best practices, scalability, performance, and maintainability
Design and oversee Oracle CPQ solution architecture, including:
Product configuration models
Pricing and discounting rules
Approval workflows
Quote document generation
Ensure alignment with Oracle best practices and enterprise standards
Lead solution design reviews and provide architectural sign-off
Architect and manage integrations between Oracle CPQ and:
Oracle Sales Cloud / Oracle Fusion
ERP systems (Order Management, Pricing, Billing)
Third-party systems (CRM, finance, custom apps)
Oversee data migration, master data alignment, and data quality controls
Act as the CPQ technical lead, coordinating onshore/offshore teams
Manage backlog, enhancements, and CPQ release planning
Provide hands-on guidance for complex configurations and troubleshooting
Ensure documentation, governance, and change management standards are followed
Partner with business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) to translate requirements into CPQ solutions
Lead workshops, design sessions, and executive-level discussions
Support UAT, production readiness, and post-go-live optimization
Establish CPQ governance, standards, and support models
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ / BigMachines
Strong hands-on experience in product configuration modeling
Strong hands-on experience in pricing & discount structures
Strong hands-on experience in approval workflows
Strong hands-on experience in quote templates and document engine
Proven experience conducting CPQ assessments and remediation programs
Solid understanding of quote-to-cash (Q2C) processes
Experience integrating CPQ with Oracle ERP / Fusion applications
Strong SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills
