Responsibilities
Finance Controller will collaborate with project managers to drive the financial success of active projects
Assist with preparation, analysis, and reporting of project forecasts
Challenge project teams constructively to identify risks, quantify potential impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies
Oversee and validate project financial projections (Estimates at Completion), ensuring all variances are clearly documented with root-cause explanations
Review contract terms and monitor performance to strengthen financial results, including supporting change order and scope-adjustment processes
As a Finance Controller, you will manage project working capital, focusing on healthy cash flow and timely financial transactions
Present monthly financial performance updates to senior project leadership and develop accompanying dashboards or management reports
Lead weekly update sessions with project managers to ensure forecast accuracy and timely submission of required information
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
Strong sense of ownership & accountability - with demonstrated ability to deliver success whilst working with an operational business partner
Strong demonstrated use of SAP (or equivalent ERP), Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
5+ years of experience in either a projects business or manufacturing plant
