Responsibilities

Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of building and grounds, including carpentry, electrical and plumbing
Basic repairs, including carpentry, plumbing and electrical
Provides facilities and maintenance labor and technical support to all areas of the site structure, equipment and grounds
Works with manufacturing and process engineering utilizing blueprints, drawings or rough sketches
Support facility/production daily scheduled and non-scheduled work order related activities
Concrete repair and polishing of manufacturing floors as required
Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
Other duties as instructed by Supervisor

Required

2 years of light industrial electrical experience required
2 years of plumbing/sewer experience required
Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with all company policies
Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
Must be able to do physical labor and operate power equipment, such as forklifts and boom lifts
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Ability to demonstrate professionalism
Must be able to professionally work with outside vendors
Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
Strong attention to detail and capacity to take direction
Must have their own tools
Ability to routinely lift up 50 pounds
Ability to work independently as well as with a Team
Ability to work overtime as required

Preferred

High school diploma/GED preferred
