Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, developing and integrating technology solutions to meet specific business needs by evaluating technical requirements, selecting appropriate development solutions, to ensure solutions align with organizational and targeted user goals
Integrating solutions that leverage AI/ML with various partners to provide innovative solutions
Work closely with product managers, project managers, SME’s and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. Identifies risks, evaluates options and translates them into a functioning solution
Coordinates activities with other IT organizations (e.g. database, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc.) Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
Leader in architectural solution design to support scalability and performance optimization; Builds systems consistent with enterprise architecture requirements and defined SDLC
Responsible for data architecture, API design, and integration
Plans, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains programs in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, hardware, software, technology tools, etc
Implement software solutions and projects using the latest cloud computing technologies
Actively participate in the agile software development process, including capturing project artifacts in Dev Ops, daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Responsible for technical storyboarding adhering to technical specifications
Responsible for managing projects, making sure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, and scope
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
Supervise and manage Infrastructure, database and server activities
Monitor and triage performance management and issue logging
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in web development
Operate as a project leader, overseeing one or more projects and one or more project teams
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and needs and deliver iteratively with repeated patterns of delivering quick wins
Strong communication and ability to collaborate with others
Coordinate project deliverables between multiple groups and stakeholders
Reports to the IT Sr. Director
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
4-7+ years of IT software development experience with extensive experience as a full stack
1-3 years of leading or managing software project teams
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a large, fast-paced corporate environment
Experience utilizing AI and/or machine learning in software development solutions
Experience in software development utilizing modern technologies Asp.net MVC/Core, ReactJS, TypeScript, SQL Server, NoSQL, CSS, JavaScript, experience with application caching like RedisCache, Restful APIs, NodeJS
Experience with automated testing, TDD, unit-testing and other modern testing methodologies
DevOps – Experience with automated CI/CD pipeline, version control GIT/ADO, scripting and other automation
Previous experience working with offshore development teams and effectively communicating technical details and resolve issues
Preferred
Experience in food management, logistics, and purchasing concepts a plus
