Responsibilities
Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and other AWS services
Mentor team members to build competencies in architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure
Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure availability and performance of cloud services
Configure alerts and respond to incidents promptly to minimize downtime
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across the environment
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary controls to protect sensitive data
Qualification
Required
5 to 10 years of experience in AWS Cloud and related technologies
Good understanding of networking fundamentals
Strong skills in storage administration and management
Expertise in file sharing and NTFS permissions
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server concepts
Strong understanding of Windows File Server concepts
Good knowledge of AWS and other cloud platforms
Experience with backup and restore processes
Experience in file server migrations to Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms is a plus
Preferred
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of database services and management on AWS
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
