Tier II Technical Support Specialist

Latitude Inc is seeking a Tier II Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support in a managed services environment. The role involves delivering desk-side support to end users and addressing technical issues both onsite and remotely.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support by responding to and resolving user-reported issues efficiently
Deliver desk-side support at client locations to address hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Collaborate directly with end users to diagnose and resolve technical problems
Log, track, prioritize, and document service desk tickets accurately and consistently
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patching, and software installations
Act as a liaison between end users and Tier 2/3 support teams for complex issue escalation
Participate in onsite and remote support rotations as needed
Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles for issue resolution and user education

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in a help desk or service desk role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including troubleshooting Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
Solid understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and common hardware issues
Experience configuring and troubleshooting wireless networks, including connectivity, security, and performance
Hands-on experience supporting Android and iOS devices, including setup, configuration, and email synchronization
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills using systematic problem-solving approaches
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Strong customer service orientation, with patience and empathy when assisting end users

Preferred

At least one professional IT certification preferred (e.g., MCP, CompTIA Network+, ITIL v4 Foundations)
