Responsibilities
Lead AV project planning, execution, and post-event review for 55–70 annual events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and event objectives
Oversee AV inventory management, equipment rentals, and vendor partnerships, optimizing resources and budget
Collaborate with presenters and stakeholders to design and deliver impactful presentations, including media integration and rehearsal support
Direct onsite AV setup, live event monitoring, and technical troubleshooting, serving as the primary point of contact for all AV-related matters
Develop and implement AV standards, templates, and SOPs to ensure consistency and quality across recurring event types
Train and mentor internal staff on AV best practices, troubleshooting, and presentation technologies
Research and recommend emerging technologies (e.g., hybrid platforms, LED walls, wireless systems) to enhance event delivery
Manage relationships with external AV vendors and venues, ensuring compatibility, quality, and compliance with Federation standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in audiovisual project planning and execution for events
Technical expertise in audiovisual technology and equipment
Project management skills
Ability to manage AV operations for a diverse portfolio of events
Experience in AV inventory management and vendor partnerships
Collaboration skills to work with presenters and stakeholders
Ability to direct onsite AV setup and live event monitoring
Experience in developing and implementing AV standards and SOPs
Training and mentoring skills for internal staff on AV best practices
Research skills to recommend emerging technologies for event delivery
Relationship management skills with external AV vendors and venues
