Lab Cognizant Engineer / Principal Lab Cognizant Engineer - 2nd Shift - R10216516

Responsibilities
Lead test events ranging from developmental to formal testing
Effectively assign roles and responsibilities to team members by clearly communicating test priorities and expectations
Ensure test stations and assets are configured and ready to test by deploying software and configuring hardware
Work closely with QA to maintain and validate test station software and hardware
Establish and maintain standards of test conduct and rigor
Effectively manage lab configuration through detailed documentation
Accurately communicate lab and test status to leadership via written and oral means
Troubleshoot component and system level issues/discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, prior to the commencement of employment
Experience using test equipment to support diagnostic and troubleshooting activities. (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related professional/military experience

Familiarity with avionics systems and equipment, Test Stations, or Lab Operations
Experience with software deployments and deployments tools
