InternGolden Spread Electric Cooperative, Inc. (GSEC) is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative organized in 1984 to provide low-cost, reliable electric power and energy to its 16 Member cooperatives. The IT Applications Intern will assist in analyzing application architecture, participate in coding and testing, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate on new features under supervision.

Responsibilities
Assist in analyzing the current application architecture and identifying areas for improvement
Participate in coding, testing, and implementing application upgrades under supervision
Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues, including performance and functionality problems
Collaborate with team members to design and develop new features or enhancements
Research and recommend best practices for application development and modernization
Document technical changes, processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference
Communicate findings and progress updates to manager
Perform testing to ensure upgrades meet functional and security requirements
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a college or university student, preferred junior or senior, pursuing a degree in information technology, computer science, computer information systems or related field of study
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2
