Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and analytical SIU Business Data Analyst to join our Special Investigations Unit (SIU). This role is responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and business acumen to uncover actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Utilize advanced analytics to analyze customer claims data, identify emerging risk patterns, and collaborate with SIU Leadership on strategies to address these risks
Perform thorough analyses to quantify findings, recognize opportunities and strengths, and influence key business decisions in partnership with relevant stakeholders
Partner with the SIU Manager and Leadership Team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for fraud detection, monitor progress, and regularly report results to leadership
Convey analysis and recommendations through clear presentations and written reports tailored to various audiences
Employ data visualization techniques, including interactive dashboards, to highlight trends in case resolution times, resource allocation, and overall SIU Business Unit performance
Identify and report significant data trends, such as seasonal spikes in claims, and recommend resource adjustments to optimize efficiency and support continuous improvement
Deliver ad hoc reports and timely, relevant data analyses in response to senior leadership inquiries, including detailed reviews of claim volumes and business unit health
Proactively investigate and resolve anomalies or outliers within data sets, conducting root cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and reliability

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
Proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft office, with the ability to leverage these tools for data analysis and reporting
Advanced proficiency in data mining and visualization software, such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik, to build visualizations that highlight key trends and patterns in claims data
Strong analytics and reporting capabilities

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
5-7 years of experience in data analysis or a related field preferred
