Responsibilities
Workday Package Consultant will lead the end-to-end design, build, and support of Workday payroll integrations
Own and manage inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external payroll vendors and internal systems
Serve as the integration lead for payroll data flows, providing technical guidance and best-practice recommendations
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues to ensure accurate, secure, and timely payroll processing
Partner closely with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to deliver solutions aligned to business, compliance, and security requirements
Lead and support testing activities including SIT, UAT, parallel payroll, and regression testing
As a Workday Package Consultant, you will create, review, and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, data mappings, and runbooks
Ensure all integrations adhere to Workday security, data privacy, and compliance standards
Mentor junior integration consultants and contribute to integration delivery standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
6-7 years of hands-on Workday integration development experience
Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, and Report Writer
Proven experience delivering Workday Payroll integrations in enterprise environments
Solid understanding of payroll data flows, reconciliation processes, and downstream financial impacts
Strong technical skills across XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST APIs, and web services
Excellent communication skills with experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to own integration workstreams, manage priorities, and drive issue resolution
