Process Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Sizing and specification of equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, pressure relief valves, and heat exchangers
Development of P&ID’s, data sheets, process flow diagrams, heat and material balances and control/operation philosophy documents
Participation process hazard analysis
Opportunities for research and development activities and field support of equipment are also available in this role. This rile will require around 10% of travel

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred)
Minimum 5 years' experience with facility design and operation (field experience preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Symmetry

Preferred

Experience in the design and operation of refining/petrochemical processing equipment with field process engineering experience preferred
