Responsibilities
Provides customers, sales representatives, and the technical staff with accurate pencil, AutoCAD and Visio drawings and documentation of audio, video, audiovisual, and presentation systems in accordance with established Technical Standards
Researches available hardware and software options, analyzes the capabilities of available hardware and software, and assists in the design of an audio-visual system of various hardware and software components which work together as one integrated system to best meet the specific customer needs
Qualification
Required
A CAD Technician's educational background should consist of formal training; AAS degree in ECAD or IT Technology is preferred
AutoCAD software proficiency is important
Computer literacy skills supported by acknowledged certification
Aptitude to read and understand architectural and construction drawings
Ability to draw and modify architectural drawings
Communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and to be self-directed
Preferred
Previous experience in the service and installation of audio, video, audiovisual and presentation systems is not necessary but would be supportive to the position
