Customer Service Representative – Pharmacy Operations
Amerit Consulting is a fast-growing staffing and consulting firm that seeks a Customer Service Representative for Pharmacy Operations. This role involves managing pharmacy-related calls, scheduling medication refills and deliveries, and providing high-quality customer service to patients and clients.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary resource for inbound non-clinical calls, including prescription status and financial inquiries
Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries and payments, ensuring accurate information for timely distribution
Respond directly to customer inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff for prompt resolution
Document clear and concise progress notes to support internal workflow visibility
Use internal management systems to assist customers with refill needs, prescription status, insurance verification, and invoice copies
Address patient questions during refill scheduling and escalate clinical concerns to pharmacists or nurses as appropriate
Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinical teams
Perform additional duties assigned depending on team/program requirements
Qualification
Required
High School diploma
Minimum 1 year of high-volume call center experience
Excellent communication skills
Basic problem-solving ability
Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work onsite (first 90 days)
