Responsibilities
Receiving. stocking, shipping, issuing, repairing, distributing material, aircraft parts, jet engines, ground support equipment and other items as determined by TALON
Administer verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy and inputting, retrieving, and analyzing data
Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained, prepare facilities for changing weather conditions
Function independently and as a team member when interacting with company leadership, customers, and vendors
Maintain a safe warehouse by applying company, state and federal safety policies and regulations
Promote high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
Assists the Warehouse Supervisor in creating a positive work environment in which employees are fulfilled, stimulated, engaged, and motivated
Other duties as assigned. As a company 'start-up', TALON teammates may be called upon occasionally to perform duties and functions outside their normal activities including lending help in the warehouse, sorting parts and materials, and doing data entry
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and aged 18 or above
At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
Strong interpersonal communication skills and proven success in providing excellent customer service
Strong organizational and time management skills
Valid state driver's license
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred
Forklift certification is a plus
Experience in aviation
Knowledge of warehouse software packages (Pentagon) and MS Office proficiency
