Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineer - Early Career
Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking a full-time Early Career Guidance, Navigation & Controls Engineer. In this role, you will design flight software algorithms, conduct performance analysis, and support hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree
Broad technical skills including rigid body dynamics, control theory, computer programming or related fields
Experience using Matlab and/or Simulink for simulations, analysis of feedback control systems, closed loop guidance, or navigation algorithms
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
Preferred
Experience with simulation and physics-based modeling
Knowledge of missile systems
Experience with missile flight controls and guidance
Experience with model based software development using Simulink (autocoding)
Experience with Python, FORTRAN, C and C++
Experience with image processing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, advisors/management, subcontractors and customers
Active DoD Secret clearance
