Responsibilities

Lead a diverse team of RF Engineers through the design, build, test, and delivery of RF EGSE
Serve as the primary liaison between the RF EGSE team, program managers, systems engineers, and external customers/suppliers. Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable RF specifications and ensure timely feedback loops throughout the project lifecycle
Identify technical, schedule, and supply‑chain risks early, populate a risk register, and drive mitigation plans (e.g., redundancy, alternative test paths, supplier qualification). Conduct periodic “risk reviews” that involve both engineering and program finance
Champion a disciplined Configuration Management (CM) program for RF EGSE hardware and software, ensuring baseline integrity, traceability, and compliance with EGSE Design standards. Lead internal audits and facilitate external quality‑assurance assessments
Perform dual roles as the functional leader of a group of direct report RF engineers and as an execution leader for cost, design, and delivery of EGSE to customers
Oversee design reviews, ensuring good RF Design practices and common processes are in place for new designs
Mentor and coach less experienced engineers
