They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to generate revenue through proactive lead generation, client engagement, and closing sales of used machinery.

Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach : Target food and beverage manufacturers with surplus equipment or machinery needs
Lead Generation : Leverage internal databases, online platforms, and trade show networks to identify and connect with qualified prospects
Client Engagement : Build strong relationships with plant managers, engineers, purchasing teams, and executives to assess equipment needs
Sales Execution : Deliver proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals involving used industrial machinery
Pipeline Management : Track sales activities and leads through CRM tools to ensure follow-through and conversion
Market Intelligence : Monitor industry trends, auctions, and competitor moves to inform your outreach strategy
Team Collaboration : Work closely with our shop, auction, and inside sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of B2B sales experience
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools
Highly motivated, self-starting, and goal-driven
Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events
Preferred
capital equipment or industrial sales experience
Knowledge of food processing equipment
