Responsibilities
Plan and implement projects at various customer locations in the U.S. and abroad, including employee and subcontractor activities. The primary customer contact for the duration of each project. Can issue orders, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide regular updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with employees as necessary
Develop expertise in own discipline. Serves as a resource for best practices/quality. Has knowledge of the latest technical developments in own area. Contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures implementation within area of responsibility
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and integration of own area into other areas; has comprehensive knowledge of competition and factors that distinguish the company in the market
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in operations/product management, manufacturing, technology, or construction. Looks at existing solutions from a new perspective. Uses technical experience and expertise in data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside own function to make decisions
Serves as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Can lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or confidential information; works to build consensus. Develops persuasion skills necessary to influence others on topics within the area of expertise
