Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining scripts, tools, and automation frameworks to support security operations
Help integrate security tools with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and incident response processes
Automate repetitive security tasks such as log analysis, vulnerability scanning, and alert triage
Support efforts to collect, normalize, and analyze security data from multiple sources
Document and maintain automation processes, ensuring reliability and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, DevOps, Security, Engineering) to embed security automation into workflows
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Basic programming skills, preferably in Python
Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts (vulnerabilities, scanning, risk)
Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments
Ability to write, debug, and maintain scripts
Strong analytical mindset and curiosity for automation and optimization
Good documentation and communication skills
Preferred
Experience automating security workflows or scans
Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and REST-based integrations
Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Understanding of AI skills
Knowledge of security testing tools and automation frameworks
Interest in DevSecOps and scalable security solutions
