Responsibilities
Assisting with implementing the strategic goals for Outpatient Services set forth by the senior management team
Building relationships and maximizing the highest level of customer service with referral sources
Guiding patients through the Fairfax Continuum of Care and performing clerical duties within the Outpatient department & Assessment and Referral (Intake) department
Managing assigned Outpatient accounts and the sales functions of communication, new business development, maintaining a database of customer information, and referral follow up
Meeting with eligible patients to discuss the benefits of Outpatient services as part of their continuum of care treatment
Maintaining MS4 data
Communicating services and availability as a point-of-contact for patients/families in crisis and external agencies
Operating as Business Development Liaison within the Outpatient department & A&R department, providing excellent customer service while performing clerical duties within the department
Answering phone, maintaining inventory and supplies, maintaining BD event calendar, managing Fairfax’s social media accounts, constant contact, patient/unit records/lists and census sheet
Greeting patients and families, and escorting patients from various units/departments
Ensuring proper documentation of patient calls and records
Initiating additional clerical duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services, Sales, Marketing or related field
Two years minimum experience
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Preferred
Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting
A thorough understanding of the inpatient workflow process, as it pertains to case management and discharge planning
