Responsibilities
Build and lead strong project teams to deliver high-quality electrical construction projects that meet or exceed client expectations
Drive division profitability through effective planning, execution, and financial oversight of multiple projects
Develop and lead project management objectives including technical execution, scheduling, procurement strategy, contractual compliance, personnel assignments, and capacity planning
Continuously evaluate and improve operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability
Manage, mentor, and develop project management staff and field leadership
Review contractual requirements and establish project delivery strategies aligned with project scope and risk profile
Ensure project schedules and milestones are achieved, adjusting priorities as needed based on client needs and resource availability
Maintain strong client relationships and validate expectations throughout all phases of project delivery
Provide oversight and coordination with subcontractors and third-party construction partners
Lead project review processes with a strong emphasis on financial forecasting and performance tracking
Proactively communicate project risks, challenges, and successes to internal and external stakeholders
Oversee project invoicing in accordance with contract terms and lead negotiation of change orders
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within electrical commercial or mixed-use construction
Strong understanding of electrical power systems and engineering coordination
Field experience working closely with construction management teams
Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, estimating, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contract administration
