Responsibilities
Translate business outcomes into AI product strategy, measurable goals, and ROI-driven roadmaps; align AI capabilities with compliance, risk, and customer experience needs
Partner with engineering and data science teams to design, deliver, and iterate AI features: clarify software requirements, review code and integration patterns (Python/Java), and guide model evaluation with appropriate metrics and trade-offs
Consider and design for how AI agents could be integrated into product and platforms: define agent roles, capabilities, and handoffs; design orchestration models; oversee agent execution reviews and continuous improvement
Ensure Responsible AI: embed fairness, transparency, privacy, and accountability into product design and governance; lead model risk assessments and mitigation plans
Shape UX for AI: design intuitive, explainable interfaces; set user expectations for AI behavior; define feedback loops, guardrails, and escalation paths
Drive SDLC excellence: support data pipelines, CI/CD, MLOps, monitoring, and incident response for AI systems; operationalize testing for both software and models
Communicate clearly across stakeholders: bridge engineering, data science, design, compliance, and business; craft narratives and artifacts that accelerate decision-making
Deliver outcomes: manage scope, timeline, and budgets; establish OKRs and product metrics; report progress and risks transparently; enable quality at speed
Develop product strategies that align with business objectives and account for technology, data, risk, compliance, and experience design considerations
Support defining product organization and operating models (e.g., product taxonomy, organizational structure, funding methods, product delivery processes, governance models, decision-making models) that help our clients better allocate funding, prioritize work and drive quality and efficient delivery
Improve portfolio management with AI-specific product metrics and OKRs that align work to business objectives and increase transparency/traceability of outcomes and ROI
Drive technology delivery through defining business requirements (user stories and acceptance criteria), prioritizing backlogs, and creating and maintaining roadmaps including for AI features and agentic workflows
Orchestrate and design AI agents: define capabilities, context windows, tools, and policies; establish orchestration models; review and optimize agent executions
Support cross-functional teams of designers, engineers and testers through the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and MLOps from ideation through implementation and deployment, including data pipelines and model lifecycle management
Apply technical fluency: understand ML fundamentals, model evaluation (precision/recall, calibration, latency/cost trade-offs), data pipelines, and tech stacks; conduct software requirement reviews and code analysis in Python or Java to ensure quality and fit-for-purpose integration
Advocate and operationalize cross-functional best practices such as user testing, functional and regression test automation, model testing/validation, and alignment to industry/client standards
Utilize prevalent product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, AhA!, Productboard) to ideate and deliver AI-powered technology solutions
Utilize product analytics software and experimentation frameworks to derive insights on user behavior, product performance, and value delivery, translating findings into actionable recommendations
Define and implement AI prompt/knowledge management, and agent monitoring dashboards, review agent executions for safety, quality, and efficiency
Advise on and implement best practices and standards for experience design, agile delivery, technology and data
Learn and evangelize leading technologies including generative AI to improve quality and efficiency throughout the SDLC (e.g., user story definition, code generation, test automation)
Construct and communicate a compelling story to rally the client around potential changes and associated benefits; demystify AI and agentic systems for non-technical stakeholders
Drive desired outcomes defined in client engagements and carry through to implementation, including change management for AI adoption
Begin developing long-term client relationships and networks and cultivate business development opportunities
Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment
Demonstrate understanding of current technology environment and industry trends across financial services, including AI, data, cloud, risk, and regulatory
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field and 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field and 2 years of work experience
Proven delivery skills including the ability to identify issues and risks and escalate appropriately, manage communications with EY and client team members, and be accountable for client deliverables
Experience and passion for learning, implementing and evangelizing AI
Experience facilitating discussions with technical, design and business subject-matter resources to document requirements, establish a vision, and articulate alternatives for future state AI solutions across various domains and channels
Demonstrated ability to support product vision, define and manage product roadmaps, prioritize and manage the backlog, and support product/technology launches, including AI features and agent-enabled workflows
Data literacy and analytics experience, including designing experiments (A/B tests), defining metrics, and interpreting telemetry to guide product decisions and assess model performance
Experience with Responsible AI practices: awareness of fairness, bias, transparency, and accountability; ability to collaborate with risk, compliance, and security to embed governance
Experience successfully managing projects with defined deliverables and budgets. Experience must include budgeting and managing schedules; client relationship management; communicating strategically around key issues; conflict resolution and consensus building
Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team; manage communications with the project sponsors and manage the delivery of an engagement workstream
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Requires domestic and regional travel up to 80% to serve client needs
