Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by our clinical team
Monitor and support residents and their children in accordance with treatment plans
Observe and document client behavior and progress, including any changes in mental health or substance use
Provide 24-hour structured support and observation, including wellness and room checks
Assist with ADLs including hygiene, nutrition, and medication reminders
Accompany or transport residents to off-site appointments
Use de-escalation and grounding techniques
Foster trust with residents experiencing trauma or co-occurring disorders
Respect cultural, developmental, and gender-specific needs
Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients throughout their treatment journey
Maintain accurate documentation in EHR
Participate in shift hand-offs and team meetings
Communicate effectively with other staff members and participate in team meetings to provide updates on client progress
Facilitate/co-facilitate psychoeducation and life skills groups
Facilitate recreational group therapy sessions and activities to promote positive interactions and build a supportive community
Perform environmental checks and ensure child-safe conditions
Monitor for signs of relapse or neglect and report per policy
Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, following all facility policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral health, inpatient and/or residential care
Must pass background check and drug screening
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients and staff
