Relationship Manager- Schwab Advisor ProDirect™

The Relationship Manager role is key to growing the ProDirect program by serving as the primary contact for advisors, ensuring resource engagement, and facilitating community events to foster relationships and support firm growth.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Advisor Services primary contact for emerging and existing advisors enrolled in ProDirect
Provide strong accountability to ProDirect firms to ensure they engage and adopt resources provided to drive operational efficiency and digital adoption
Lead ProDirect firms through consulting offers, with assistance of dedicated consultants to accelerate firm growth
Introduce firm into community offering to drive engagement, loyalty and reinforcement of growth
Assist Business Development with new entrants into the program by serving on the selling team
Maintain a strong band of communication between the program team and internal business partners
Demonstrate superior understanding of features and benefits of Schwab tools, products and services in order to encourage adoption while offering solution-based recommendations
Facilitate member community events to foster an environment of belonging and deepen relationships
Contribute to the overall ProDirect team to add insights to help the ProDirect offer grow and evolve

Required

FINRA Series 7, 63 licenses
Minimum of 3 years in Advisor Services, ideally 5+ years
Passion for helping advisors turn independent and delivering insights to build a long term successful firm
Excellent relationship management skills including collaborating, influencing and negotiating. Demonstrated ability to problem solve, interact with individuals at various levels, and think on your feet
Ability to provide accountability and action to help firms adopt change
Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize business needs and manage time effectively
Ability to support positive relationships between the members and Schwab through fostering successful internal partnerships
Superior communication, presentation, interpersonal and listening skills
Passion for sales, professionalism, positivity and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork
In-depth knowledge of Advisor Services products, services, complex subject matters, policies and procedures as well as demonstrated brokerage industry knowledge
Skill and experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups

Preferred

Flexibility to travel for member visits/events on a limited basis
Experience growing emerging advisors
