As a Sr. Producer for Trade Shows, you will be responsible for the planning, production, and execution of complex trade show and exhibition programs for Fortune 500 brands, ensuring flawless execution and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Own the complete lifecycle of trade show and exhibition programs, from initial planning through install, show open, and dismantle
Lead the development and execution of custom exhibits, modular and rental systems, and hybrid booth solutions
Command all aspects of trade show logistics with precision and foresight
Develop and manage annual trade show budgets and per-show cost tracking with strategic precision
Ensure seamless execution from concept to completion across all internal GMR teams
Take initiative to understand design intent and elevate it through smart, practical production solutions
Proficient in the language of production design and visualization such as CAD, Vectorworks, and SketchUp
Qualification
Required
Trade Show and Exhibit Leadership. You'll own the complete lifecycle of trade show and exhibition programs, from initial planning through install, show open, and dismantle. You'll oversee booth programs ranging from intimate small footprints to expansive large-scale custom exhibits, ensuring that each one delivers exactly what the brand intended
Exhibit, Fabrication & Technical Oversight. Your expertise will span the full spectrum of exhibit solutions. You'll lead the development and execution of custom exhibits, modular and rental systems, and hybrid booth solutions that push creative boundaries while remaining practical and buildable. Working closely with exhibit houses and fabricators, you'll serve as the translator between creative vision and structural reality, ensuring every concept emerges as a code-compliant. You'll review and approve technical drawings, construction details, and structural plans with a keen eye, and maintain strong knowledge of fabrication materials, construction methods, hardware, and assembly
Logistics and Show Management. You'll command all aspects of trade show logistics with precision and foresight. From freight and drayage to advance warehouse versus direct-to-show shipping decisions, from install and dismantle schedules to exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) processes, you'll orchestrate the complex choreography that gets booths to venues on time and in perfect condition. You'll coordinate show services including electrical, rigging, internet, plumbing, and labor while ensuring compliance with exhibitor manuals, venue requirements, fire marshal regulations, and union rules
Budget and Financial Management. You'll develop and manage annual trade show budgets and per-show cost tracking with strategic precision. Forecasting costs across full trade show seasons and programs, reviewing vendor bids, negotiating scopes, and managing reconciliation will all be part of your playbook. You'll have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to drive efficiency and reuse assets without compromising quality, proving that smart financial stewardship and exceptional results aren't mutually exclusive
Collaboration and Program Management. You'll be the connective tissue across all internal GMR teams such creative, account, digital, and operations, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. You'll build and maintain detailed production schedules, asset inventories, freight matrices, and tracking documents that keep everything organized and accessible. As the primary production contact with venues, show management, and vendors, you'll be the trusted voice that keeps all stakeholders aligned and confident
Experiential Excellence. You'll take initiative to understand design intent and elevate it through smart, practical production solutions that work in the real world. You'll balance creative ambition with operational rigor and repeatability, ensuring that brilliant ideas translate consistently across multiple shows and venues. You'll make confident, informed decisions onsite to keep programs running smoothly, proving that you're not just a problem-solver, but a strategic partner who makes the entire operation better
Preferred
Fluency in the language of production design and visualization such as CAD, Vectorworks, and SketchUp
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge) as well as Microsoft Office, Apple Keynote, and Acrobat Pro
