Apprentice Engineer
Binion's Gambling Hall is a hotel and casino, and they are seeking an Apprentice Engineer to perform maintenance, repair, and service duties. This role involves working alongside a journeyman engineer to learn engineering maintenance skills while adhering to safety codes.

Responsibilities
Strictly a trainee
He/She is to work with a journeyman engineer at all times and is to be given the opportunity to learn all phases of engineering maintenance
Must attend classes two nights per week, while working, to complete his/her apprenticeship program
Will work in and learn all the job skills noted under maintenance engineers
All other duties assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience in reading, interpreting and following general engineering drawings, schematics and specifications as well as manufactures instructions. This is normally acquired through three to five years of experience in commercial property maintenance and/or a Journeyman or Master Electrician License certificate
Must attend classes two nights per week, while working, to complete his/her apprenticeship program
Must have the ability to move in and out of every area in the hotel/casino
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 pounds of equipment and ability to safely install rigging/lifting devices
May be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts
Work may require on call duties
