Executive Communications Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee CEO’s social and digital presence and help with other activities and engagements with various external and internal audiences
Manage executive’s social strategy and create content for X and LinkedIn with a focus on growing engagement and following across both platforms
Create a clear video strategy for the CEO, in partnership with the Video Communications team, and execute from end-to-end – including script writing, production, and distribution of all video content
Prepare and organize briefing materials for customer and partner meetings and create a plan for incorporating AI-driven insights into current briefing process
Work cross-functionally and with multiple stakeholders and partners in Global Communications to amplify and align Cisco’s messaging and overall business strategy through CEO content and activities
Evaluate social media, video, and speaking opportunity requests for the Office of the CEO
Demonstrate the highest level of communications excellence while executing flawlessly
Qualification
Required
8+ years of communications experience with at least 3 years directly supporting a senior executive
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, domestic and international
Experience creating and managing social media on behalf of a company or senior executive
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communications skills with a passion for storytelling
Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Self-starter who can work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset
Ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into compelling narratives
Experience in one or several of these areas: media/PR, government affairs, investor relations, employee communications
