Responsibilities
Accountable for OSC cost, schedule, and quality
Perform as people manager of both MPM’s and POM’s
Manage, develop and lead OSC proposal activities including task descriptions and BOEs
Interface with internal and external Customers ensuring satisfactory standards of service
Coordinate & develop OSC requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies
Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process
Implement and drive process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs
Manage budgets and schedules
Create and host presentations of OSC activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and program-level information to internal and external customers
Lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers
Travel domestically and internationally
Qualification
Required
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Minimum 8 years experience in a supply chain role
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing
Supervisory, people manager, and/or team lead in matrixed organization
Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal management
Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools and applications
