They are seeking a Special Security Officer to assist with managing the planning, design, and construction security of facilities and enforce Intelligence Community Standards.

Responsibilities

Perform oversight of Government and contractor SCIF construction and modifications
Coordinate SCIF pre-construction packages and formal approvals/accreditations with Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)
Respond to alarms, provides support to quarterly maintenance on Intrusion Detection System (IDS), facility access control, power failure, equipment changes, general maintenance, and periodic inspections
Review Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), TEMPEST Checklist/Addendums and pertinent SCIF documentation
Assist stakeholders with SCIF documentation, and management and operations of their facilities
Assist with other technical and programmatic issues related to Government and contractor SCIFs

Qualification

SSO accreditations/certificationsMissile defense experienceMicrosoft Office skillsOral communication skillsWritten communication skillsProblem-solving ability

Required

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility, required
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in related discipline
At least twelve (12) years of experience working on missile defense or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office software skills
Ability to analyze and resolve problems
