Responsibilities
Maintaining commercial cooling package units on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire HVAC units
Conducting performance checks and regular HVAC maintenance
Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment
Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services
Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports
Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements
Qualification
Required
Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required)
2+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards
Candidates should reside in the Dallas, Texas area
Travel for work (up to 100%) is required, especially during busy summer months
Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
Driving to remote work sites as needed
Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors
Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Regulations
