Responsibilities

Creating user-centered IVR designs for speech and DTMF applications (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency)
Gather and analyze business and user requirements for IVR applications
Design end-to-end call flows for speech and DTMF-based IVR experiences
Create design specifications and documentation for IVR implementations
Collaborate with Product Owners to shape and refine voice user experiences
Create user stories for developers and speech scientists to implement designs
Support speech scientists with grammar design and tuning
Conduct usability testing and analyze results to improve IVR performance
Tune IVR applications to optimize recognition accuracy and user experience
Communicate design rationale and methodology to stakeholders

Required

5+ years of professional experience as a user interface designer
Strong expertise in AI conversational voice design and development
Strong expertise in gathering and analyzing business and user requirements for IVR applications
Background in linguistics, cognitive psychology, behavioral sciences, or a related field
Proven experience designing speech and DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) IVR applications
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Computer science or technical background
Experience working closely with speech scientists or NLP teams
Familiarity with usability testing methods for voice interfaces
Experience designing IVR systems in large-scale or enterprise environments
